The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring has always been a compulsory date in the PROsport Racing calendar, even though the classic race is exceptionally not held until the end of September this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic. With an Aston Martin Vantage GT4, the team based in Wiesemscheid, Germany, just four kilometers from the paddock, will take the Eifel Marathon on the legendary Nordschleife under its wheels. Four experienced drivers will take turns at the wheel of the British sports car: GT professional Nico Verdonck from Belgium, his compatriot Guido Dumarey, Alexander Walker from Switzerland and the German Michael Hess, who has the most 24-hour races in this quartet. The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 will start with starting number 71 in the SP10 class.
Team manager Christoph Esser
“We are facing an extraordinary 24-hour race, due to the late date with an unusually long night, no spectators and no campfire along the Nordschleife, but at least with a limited number of spectators in the grandstands along the Grand Prix circuit. Our top priority is to arrive!”
