PROsport Racing will field one GT3 and one GT4 Aston Martin at the third round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series season.
At the 54th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy, PROsport Racing continues its preparations for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The Wiesemscheid-based racing team will field one Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and one Aston Martin GT4 in the four-hour race.
Maxime Dumarey, Christoph Breuer and Mike David Ortmann will take turns at the wheel of the GT3 car, which will compete in the SP9 Pro-Am class. In the first two rounds of the season, the #17 car was the best-placed GT3 car not competing in the Pro class – a result the Aston Martin team would like to repeat at the third round of the season.
Reigning ADAC GT4 Germany champion Hugo Sasse will make his first race start of the 2023 season in the Aston Martin Vantage GT4. The driver from Aschersleben will pilot the car with regular driver Guido Dumarey.
“Unfortunately, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will still not be used because urgently needed spare parts from Porsche are not available,” says team boss Christoph Esser. “We will continue our preparations for the 24h race with our Aston Martin cars before our two GT3 cars start again a week later at the ADAC 24h Qualifiers.”
Tickets for the third race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series are available for 20 euros (children 14 and under free) at vln.de/tickets and at the box office.
