PROsport Racing with double program in Hockenheim and at the Nürburgring

PROsport Racing will compete in the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Hockenheimring at the same time as NLS5.

PROsport Racing has a double program ahead of it. In addition to starting with three vehicles at NLS5, the team from Wiesemscheid will return to the ADAC GT4 Germany in Hockenheim. In the GT4 series as part of the DTM support program, the team from the Eifel will enter an Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

In the past two years, Hugo Sasse won the ADAC GT4 Germany title with PROsport Racing – the talented driver from Aschersleben will also take a seat in the Aston Martin of Chris Esser’s team for the guest start at this year’s season finale. Sasse shares the vehicle with the young Austrian Raphael Rennhofer, with whom he started together in the GT4 European Series this year and also started together in Spa-Francorchamps in the ADAC GT Masters.

“We hope for a positive conclusion to this year’s GT4 season in Hockenheim, which has not been easy. With Hugo and Raphael we have a strong driver line-up who have proven their talent many times,” explains team owner Chris Esser.

“I’m looking forward to starting at the season finale of the ADAC GT4 Germany in Hockenheim,” says Hugo Sasse. “In the past two years I was able to win the title here with PROsport Racing and after we took a different approach this year, it feels good to be starting in the ADAC GT4 Germany in Hockenheim again.” Raphael Rennhofer adds: “For me, it all started last year with PROsport Racing in the ADAC GT4 Germany, before we started together in the European Championship this year. I’m happy that I can put what I’ve learned into practice this year in Hockenheim and hope for a strong end to the season together.”

At the same time, PROsport Racing will also be active on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, where the racing team will be starting with several vehicles in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. The team from Wiesemscheid is competing in the 55th ADAC Adenauer Rundstrecken-Trophy with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and two GT4 models. The vehicles will be driven by the usual regular drivers from PROsport Racing on the Nordschleife.

PROsport Racing’s season will end on the second weekend in November with a start in the French Ultimate Cup Series on the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet. The team will compete in the six-hour race with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which will be driven by Simon Balcaen, Alexander Hommerson and Steven Palette. “The starts in the ADAC GT4 Germany and the Ultimate Cup Series are a replacement for our participation in Jeddah in the GT World Challenge Europe. Due to the security situation, we have decided in agreement with the drivers not to start there,” concluded Esser.
