With sunshine into the new season: two Vantage are already on their way

While Chris Esser’s team is looking forward to a quiet Christmas time, two Vantages – a GT3 and a GT4 – are on a long journey. A fortnight ago, the Eifel-based team’s containers with the two GT sports cars as well as plenty of spare parts and equipment started the long journey to Dubai. The three Belgians Rodrigue Gillion, Nico Verdonck and Guido Dumarey and the two young Germans Mike David Ortmann and Hugo Sasse form a driver quintet for the # 401 Vantage at the already traditional 24-hour race at Dubai Autodrome, which starts on January 14th at 2:00 p.m. local time as usual in summer conditions. In the # 39 Vantage GT3 four Belgians – Maxime Dumarey, Guillaume Dumarey, Jean Glorieux and Simon Balcaen – will be alternating behind the wheel. While the # 401 is a GT4 Vantage, PROsport for the first time is entering the # 39 GT3 Vantage in a 24-hour race, also as a test for prospective GT3 outings on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
