PROsport Racing will compete in the 6-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
The ADAC Nürburgring endurance series continues with the highlight of the season on the first Saturday in August. The ROWE 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal race is on the program. Every year, many fans make the pilgrimage to the 6h race and celebrate a motorsport festival on the Nordschleife.
PROsport Racing will bring the well-known Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to the start. “Due to the vacation period, we will leave our GT4 cars in the garage this time and concentrate completely on our GT3 Aston Martin,” says team boss Chris Esser.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will be driven by the usual driver line-up of Marek Böckmann, Maxime Dumarey and Simon Balcaen and will compete in the SP9 Pro-Am class. After a difficult season so far, the entire PROsport team is hoping for a stroke of liberation in the upcoming race.
At the season highlight of the Nürburgring endurance series, the GT3 car will also be competing in a new design. The design gives a foretaste of the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 model, which PROsport Racing will switch to once the ordered upgrade parts have been delivered.
The six-hour race will start at 12:00 noon on August 3, after the race day on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife opens with qualifying at 8:30 am. Interested fans can follow the Nürburgring Endurance Series livestream from 8:15 a.m. and will not miss a thing from qualifying to the chequered flag. The coverage will be rounded off with background information about the popular racing series.
