PROsport Racing with a large contingent on the Nordschleife

PROsport Racing sets the course for 2026: GT3 promotion for Dumarey, strong GT4 trio and new projects in the pipeline

Guido Dumarey is taking what is probably the most exciting step. The Belgian, who has gained the necessary experience in recent years with GT4 appearances on the Nordschleife, is moving up to the GT3 class – and taking his son Maxime with him. Maxime won the NLS title in the SP9 Pro-Am with PROsport Racing in 2023, bringing valuable GT3 experience to the shared cockpit of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Guido Dumarey will also be competing in the 24-hour race.

In the SP10 class, PROsport Racing is relying on a well-coordinated trio: Jörg Viebahn, Anton Abée, and Yannik Himmels will compete in all ten NLS races with the Mercedes-AMG GT4 – a lineup that should be good for top results in the GT4 class, which has been upgraded due to regulation changes. From the second race onwards, a second car will be added to the program to offer other ambitious drivers a professional
opportunity to compete.

PROsport Racing remains a fixture in the permit category. With a BMW 328i in the VT2 Rwd class, the racing team is continuing a tradition that has produced names such as Earl Bamber, Kelvin van der Linde, and Robert Kubica. In 2026, Lamborghini factory driver Sandy Mitchell and ADAC GT Masters driver Max Reis, among others, will use the proven platform for their Nordschleife license.

The program is also growing outside the Nordschleife: PROsport Racing is currently putting together a package for the ADAC GT Masters with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, which is aimed at up-and-coming drivers from national and international GT racing. The team is in advanced talks for the last cockpit seat.

“Our program is more than 90 percent complete. For us, quality comes before quantity – but as racers, we naturally still have one or two exciting projects in the pipeline,” says Marc Hennerici, Managing Director of PROsport Racing.

“The breadth of our lineup is the result of consistent work. Whether you’re a gentleman driver or an up-and-coming young driver, we offer a professional platform at every level,” explains Christoph Esser, Senior Advisor.

The 2026 NLS season starts on March 14. The 24-hour race will take place from May 14 to 17.
