PROsport Racing starts the 2025 Nordschleife season

PROsport Racing will line up with two Aston Martin cars at the season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series – GT3 car will return at a later date.

This Saturday, the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series kicks off its 2025 season with the 70th ADAC Westfalenfahrt. PROsport Racing will field two cars. The Wiesemscheid-based team will field an Aston Martin Vantage GT8R and a GT4 Vantage.

Guido Dumarey will share the Vantage GT8R, which competes in the SP8T class, with his son Maxime. For this year’s season opener, the car will feature a new livery, already familiar from the team’s GT3 car. The GT4 Aston Martin in the SP10 class will be driven by veteran Jörg Viebahn with the two PROsport Racing newcomers Yannik Himmel and Michel Albers.

While the team’s popular Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will not be competing in the season opener, the powerful car will return to the Nordschleife at a later date. Currently, the car is scheduled to compete in NLS3, the ADAC 24h Qualifiers, and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. “I’m delighted that the GT3 will be racing on the Nordschleife again this year. The car will compete in the Pro class. We’re currently putting together the best possible driver lineup, which we’ll announce at a later date,” said team principal Chris Esser. “Overall, I’m pleased that we’ve had so many inquiries from drivers who wanted to race with us on the Nordschleife. Unfortunately, due to overlaps with the ADAC GT4 Germany and our Classic project, we were unable to accommodate them. However, we’re working on expanding our lineup somewhat in the second half of the season.”

PROsport Racing will field two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s in the ADAC GT4 Germany. After a test day at Hockenheim at the end of March, the team will finalize the exact driver pairings for its full-time return to the top-flight German GT4 Championship.

The race start of the 70th ADAC Westfalenfahrt takes place on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. The drivers will compete for starting positions in qualifying at 8:30 a.m. Fans can follow the racing action of the Nürburgring Endurance Series around the legendary race track as well as via the official livestream of the racing series on YouTube.
