At the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, PROsport Racing will compete with a GT3 car on the Nordschleife for the first time this year.
With the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers, PROsport Racing begins its final preparations for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. As in the previous year, the two races on the Nordschleife are part of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series. PROsport Racing will field an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and a GT4 car from the British brand. This year, the team will field a GT3 car for the first time. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will feature the spectacular Conspit livery, which thrilled fans at last year’s endurance classic. Steven Palette, who earned his Permit A with the team last year, and the two Nordschleife experts Marek Böckmann and Nico Bastian will drive the car. The GT4 Aston Martin will be driven by the regular quartet of Jörg Viebahn, Michel Albers, and Yannik Himmels, who have already delivered strong performances this year. The trio is aiming for their first class victory of the year in the two rounds of the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers. “We are delighted to be fielding our GT3 for the first time this year. Last year, we finished the NLS season finale on the podium and hope to build on that pace this weekend,” said team owner Chris Esser. “Our GT4 trio has shown a strong improvement in performance throughout the NLS season and has finished every race on the podium so far. Now it’s time for their first class victory! Otherwise, we will use the event to prepare as best as possible for our annual highlight at the Nürburgring.” The two four-hour races of the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers start on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Both races can be followed via the official livestream on YouTube. Separate qualifying sessions will take place beforehand on both days.
