PROsport Racing Returns to ADAC GT4 Germany

The two-time championship-winning PROsport Racing team will return to the ADAC GT4 Germany full-time in 2025 and will field two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s.

Two championship titles, eleven race wins, and twelve pole positions – PROsport Racing’s success story in the ADAC GT4 Germany already has many chapters. The Wiesemscheid-based racing team will return to the German GT4 Championship in 2025 and hopes to add further triumphs to its long success story. Chris Esser’s team will field two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s.

Hugo Sasse, who won the ADAC GT4 Germany title in 2022 and 2023 and has already competed with PROsport Racing in the Nürburgring 24-hour race, the ADAC GT Masters, and the GT4 European Series, is continuing his long-standing collaboration with the team. The driver from Aschersleben has been driving for the Aston Martin racing team since 2021. Sasse, who celebrates his 21st birthday shortly before the start of the season, shares a Vantage GT4 with Roman Fellner-Feldegg. The 22-year-old Fellner-Feldegg, who competes in the DMV BMW 318ti Cup in addition to his ADAC GT4 Germany program, impressed the team during a joint start in the GT4 Winter Series and during test drives.

“I’m delighted to be competing with PROsport Racing again this year!” said a beaming Hugo Sasse. “After I had actually planned during the winter months that I wouldn’t be racing this year, everything happened at very short notice. I’m extremely happy that it finally worked out and that I’ll be competing in the ADAC GT4 Germany with PROsport Racing and Roman this year.”

Roman Fellner-Feldegg on his entry into the ADAC GT4 Germany: “For the 2025 ADAC GT4 Germany season, I want to contribute my experience from the BMW 318ti Cup and thus compete in the top 10 of the overall standings alongside Hugo Sasse.”

Hamburg-based Anton Abée will drive the team’s second Aston Martin. This will be the North German’s debut in the ADAC GT4 Germany, after driving a GT4 car in the GTC Race for the past two years, where he has steadily improved. He made his debut in the team’s Aston Martin at the GT4 Winter Series in Barcelona. Anton Abée will share the car with Marek Böckmann, who has competed for PROsport Racing in the Nürburgring Endurance Series in recent years, driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Böckmann most recently drove in the ADAC GT4 Germany in 2023 at Hockenheim, also for the Wiesemscheid-based Aston Martin team.

“Getting into the ADAC GT4 Germany has been a dream of mine for a long time. The fact that it’s now happening with a top team like PROsport Racing makes it all the better. We’ve already been able to test the collaboration in the GT4 Winter Series, so I’m convinced we can have a strong package. The goal, of course, is to always be competitive enough to be at the front. The field is very strong this year. That motivates us even more to deliver top placings! We’re all super motivated and really looking forward to the start of the season,” explains Anton Abée.

The 28-year-old Böckmann, who won a race in the series in 2022, is also looking forward to the season in the ADAC GT4 Germany: “I have to say that I’m surprised myself, as everything came together at such short notice. That’s why I’m all the more excited to be back in the ADAC GT4 Germany this year, especially with PROsport Racing, one of the most successful teams in the GT4 scene. I’m very honored to be fighting for success with them. I’ve grown very close with PROsport on the Nordschleife over the past few years, and we’ve competed in many races and experienced a lot of cool things together. That’s why I’m just happy to be part of it with the team and excited that it’s finally starting! I think it’s going to be a very, very cool season. I think the ADAC GT4 Germany is one of the most competitive GT4 series – let’s see what this season brings!”

“I’m delighted that PROsport Racing will be competing full-time in the ADAC GT4 Germany again. Last year, we only made one guest appearance, but impressively demonstrated our potential with a win and a second-place finish,” explains team owner Chris Esser. “We’ve achieved some of our greatest successes in the series in recent years. With Hugo, our two-time champion will continue to compete and serve as the benchmark for his new teammates, but will also be able to help them with tips and tricks. Marek has also already demonstrated his talent in the series. During the preseason tests, we were able to set very competitive and fast lap times, so I’m optimistic about the start of the season at Oschersleben.”

This year’s ADAC GT4 Germany season begins on the last weekend of April in Oschersleben, before the season highlight takes place at the Norisring in early July. After six race weekends, the season concludes in Hockenheim at the beginning of October. Two one-hour races will be held per race weekend. All races will be held as part of the DTM support program.
