PROsport Racing ready for second ADAC GT4 Germany race weekend

The Red Bull Ring will host the ADAC GT4 Germany for the second stop of the season – PROsport Racing will start as usual with two Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

Four weeks after the season opener at Oschersleben, the ADAC GT4 Germany continues at the Red Bull Ring. As part of the GT summit meeting – GT2, GT3, GT4 and Porsche Carrera Cup cars will compete in Styria – the ADAC GT4 championship will hold two one-hour races. PROsport Racing is fielding two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s driven by Mike David Ortmann and Hugo Sasse and Yevgen Sokolovskiy and Christopher Röhner.

Ortmann and Sasse are in fourth position in the overall standings after two solid points results at Oschersleben, while Sasse leads the Junior standings. In the Trophy classification, Düsseldorf-based Ukrainian Yevgen Sokolovskiy is in fourth place. In the team standings, PROsport Racing takes fifth place. At the race weekend in the Alpine republic, PROsport Racing wants to defend Hugo Sasse’s lead in the standings – and make up positions in all other rankings!

“We travel to Austria motivated,” says team boss Christoph Esser. “In Oschersleben, our goal was to drive two flawless races after the disastrous race weekend in the GT4 European Series in Imola. We were able to achieve this. In addition, Hugo had his final exams the days after the race weekend, which also distracted him. The Aston Martin has a strong package this year – we want to make that happen!”

The two one-hour races in Austria will take place at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. The 2022 ADAC GT4 Germany races can be viewed free of charge on the high-reach platform sport.de and on adac.de/motorsport.
