PROsport Racing motivated for the second half of the season

The GT4 European Series starts the second half of the season at Hockenheim – PROsport Racing is fielding two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s.

The GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club gets underway in Hockenheim with no fewer than 51 cars. PROsport Racing will enter two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s, driven by Hugo Sasse and Raphael Rennhofer as well as Fabio Rauer and Hendrik Still.

Two-time ADAC GT4 Germany champion Hugo Sasse and his Austrian partner Raphael Rennhofer have already proven throughout the season that they are among the fastest drivers in the racing series, but three retirements through no fault of their own caused the two youngsters to fall far behind. At the last race weekend in Spa-Francorchamps, they achieved two solid results and are currently in fifth place in the championship.

Fabio Rauer and Hendrik Still have also been able to prove their speed this year. However, they failed to score any points at the race weekend in Belgium and slipped back to 13th place in the championship.

“With Hugo and Raphael, we still have a chance of finishing the championship in second place. I hope that they have used up their bad luck for the rest of the season, because they have often proven that they are among the fastest drivers in the field,” says team owner Chris Esser. “Fabio and Hendrik also had a lot of bad luck recently in Belgium and were unable to translate their speed into results. I am confident that they will be able to do so in Hockenheim!”

The GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club will complete two one-hour races on the traditional circuit in Hockenheim. The two races will start at 15:50 on Saturday and 11:50 on Sunday. Both races as well as qualifying on Saturday morning will be streamed live on YouTube by SRO. A German broadcast will also be available for fans.
