PROsport Racing will start with two Aston Martins in the SP8T class at the third round of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series.
The 56th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy, the third round of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series season, will take place next Saturday. The race will cover the usual four-hour race distance. PROsport Racing will field two Aston Martin Vantage cars in the SP8T class.
The Wiesemscheid-based team will once again field the #140 Aston Martin Vantage GT8R. The father-and-son team of Guido and Maxime Dumarey will alternate at the wheel of the British brand’s rare customer racing car.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 of Jörg Viebahn, Michel Albers, and Yannik Himmels will also once again compete in the SP8T category. The car competed in the final race with a new blue and gold livery for the first time, which thrilled fans around the Nordschleife.
“We are satisfied with this year’s NLS season so far. Our new driver trio in the GT4 Aston Martin has shown a significant improvement in performance and has achieved two podium finishes so far. We are continuing to work hard to hopefully secure our first class win of the year soon,” said Chris Esser.
The 56th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy will start at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The drivers will compete for starting positions in qualifying at 8:30 a.m. On Friday, the teams and drivers will have extensive testing available.
