The second race weekend of the ADAC GT4 Germany is coming up – PROsport Racing will compete at the Norisring for the first time.
Around two months after the season opener in Oschersleben, the ADAC GT4 Germany continues at the Norisring. PROsport Racing will compete with two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s on the historic street circuit in Nuremberg – a first for the Wiesemscheid-based team!
“Competing on new racetracks isn’t something we often experience,” laughs Chris Esser. “The Norisring looks easy on paper, but I know that’s deceptive. Street circuits are always special and follow specific rules. What’s particularly tricky is that you can’t do any testing beforehand, which makes training more important.”
The two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s of the two-time championship-winning team will be back in action at the Norisring after a successful season opener. Hugo Sasse and Roman Fellner-Feldegg, as well as Anton Abée and Marek Böckmann, will drive the two British sports cars.
Sasse and Fellner-Feldegg, who is moving up from the DMV BMW 318ti Cup to the ADAC GT4 Germany, finished second and third in the season opener, demonstrating their potential. The duo is currently second in the overall standings. Abée and Böckmann also impressed with their speed in the Magdeburg Börde region, but were hampered by Anton Abée’s health problems, forcing the duo to miss a race. Roman Fellner-Feldegg leads the Rookie standings after the season opener, and PROsport Racing is second in the Team standings.
The two races start on Saturday at 5:45 p.m. and on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Both races can be followed live via the official livestream on YouTube. The pay-TV channel Sky Sport Mix will broadcast live replays of both races on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9:00 p.m.
