The Porsche 944 Turbo Cup was Porsche’s first German one-make cup racing series. In the championship, which was held from 1986 to 1989, uniform racing cars based on the Porsche 944 Turbo were used.

The car shown here, was first used in 1987 in the French Porsche 944 Turbo Cup and came via detours to one of our customers in Switzerland. The car was heavily damaged during a hill climb and we were given the task of repairing the car and restoring it to its original condition if possible. This was not an easy task, as many parts were no longer available and we had to make them individually; engine and transmission needed a general overhaul, respectively a complete rebuild.

In the meantime the car is again in the possession of the person who already drove the car in the French Cup in 1987.
