Santa Claus made a pit stop at PROsport Racing early on. Team boss Christoph Esser is visibly beaming with the Eifel sun and proudly announces the participation of two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s in both the European GT4 Series – the GT4 European Championship in which PROsport has already won three titles – and in the ADAC GT4 Germany as well as in all races of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, formerly VLN) including the 24h Nürburgring. And the second good news is: All driver contracts have already been signed for this comprehensive commitment, with the exception of one seat in the ADAC GT4 Germany.
On the Nordschleife, the racing team based in Wiesemscheid, near the Nürburgring, will also field a Vantage GT3 in the ProAm category, in all races and with an already established line-up. In addition, there are plans to enter a second Vantage GT3 with a top line-up in selected races. Furthermore, the NLS entry of PROsports´s Porsche Cayman is mandatory for rookies in the “Green Hell” in order to obtain the so-called permit.
Christoph Esser, team principal PROsport Racing:
“I am very happy that we can announce our full program for the coming season at such an early stage and that with one exception all the drivers that we will announce at a later date have already signed their contracts. Now I’m looking forward to Christmas, to a few days of rest. We don’t have a winter break, we will travel to Dubai for the first race on January 8th. In all honesty, I’m really looking forward to 2022.”
“What started in 2019 with an extremely difficult and disappointing season is increasingly proving to be a good deal for us, namely the collaboration with Aston Martin and running the Vantage GT4. We will even purchase two more Vantage GT4s for our vast program.”
