Célia Martin competes for PROsport Racing

Frenchwoman Célia Martin will start for PROsport Racing for the first time in the 12-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. In addition, GT4 ace Hugo Sasse will be among those competing in the V5 Cayman.

Célia Martin will start for PROsport Racing. The Frenchwoman, who lives in Adenau, will drive an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for the team from Wiesemscheid at the season highlight in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. She will share the car with Emil Heyerdahl from Norway.

“Indeed, PROsport has a great track record as a team and especially on the Nordschleife,” said the 30-year-old Frenchwoman. “I am very grateful to have the opportunity to drive for such a team and to be part of their history. I’m looking forward to working with them and developing in this 12-hour race.”

She has already gained her first experience behind the wheel of the GT4 car from Aston Martin during a test with the PROsport team. “I felt comfortable with the car straight away. Especially the front axle felt very precise to me. And it’s nice to hear a V8 again. I’m excited to see how it will feel on the Nordschleife,” Martin looks back on her first kilometres with the Vantage GT4.

In addition, PROsport Racing will once again field the V5 Porsche Cayman as a “permit driving school car” at the 12-hour race, which will be driven by three well-known names from GT racing. GT4 ace Hugo Sasse, who successfully competes for the team from Wiesemscheid in the ADAC GT4 Germany and the GT4 European Series, will contest his first race on the Nordschleife. In addition, International GT Open race winner Ivan Peklin will start on the car. The line-up is rounded off by Alexander Hommerson from Belgium, the son of long-time AF Corse driver Niek Hommerson.
