PROsport Racing also achieved a strong result in the third race of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series.
The 56th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy, the third round of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series, took place last weekend. PROsport Racing once again fielded two Aston Martins in the SP8T class and delivered another strong performance.
Veterans Jörg Viebahn, Michel Albers, and Yannik Himmels shared the wheel of an Aston Martin Vantage GT4. In qualifying, PROsport Racing once again proved that the car is one of the fastest cars in the class, securing second place on the grid. In the race, the driver trio delivered a strong and flawless performance, securing third place – their third podium finish in the third race of the season.
The father-and-son team of Guido and Maxime Dumarey once again drove one of the rare Aston Martin Vantage GT8Rs in the class and also delivered a strong performance. Maxime Dumarey secured fourth place in the class. The two Belgians also delivered a strong performance in the race, ultimately finishing fifth in the highly competitive class.
“I’m satisfied with our performance in the third NLS round. Our GT4 trio showed further improvement in performance, and I’m sure our first class win won’t be long in coming! We’re making great progress in every race. The GT8R also delivered a strong performance in perfect weather,” summarized PROsport Racing team principal Chris Esser.
In Wiesemscheid, PROsport Racing is in full swing with preparations for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and the ADAC 24-hour Qualifiers, which will again be part of this year’s ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series. The team is working hard to field the best possible lineup for the endurance classic.
