Heinemann / Oestreich with Aston Martin

With drivers Tim Heinemann, newly crowned champion of the new DTM Trophy, and Moritz Oestreich, PROsport and Aston Martin are returning to the ADAC GT4 Germany. Heinemann (23) and Oestreich (28), formerly at the start in the ADAC TCR Germany, will compete in the two races on Saturday (start: 4:50 p.m.) and Sunday (start: 4:40 p.m.) with the orange Vantage GT4 with starting number 18 at the Lausitzring – both races live on Gemsan TV channel SPORT1 – as a guest starter.

Remarkable: The former DTM and truck racing driver Markus Oestreich is once again working as a race car engineer for PROsport Racing. This time, however, his son Moritz is one of the drivers in the Vantage GT4.

Team Principal Christoph Esser
„First of all, I would like to congratulate Tim Heinemann on his convincing title win in the DTM Trophy. That was a great achievement. Both drivers, Tim and Moritz, are a good combination for determining our position with the Aston Martin Vantage GT4. We had an unfortunate season in the 2019 ADAC GT4, we don’t have more than one pole position on our credit side. We have noticeably improved the car and are very excited to see how we will do against the tough competition in this series.”

Tim Heinemann, who drives a Mercedes-AMG GT in the DTM Trophy, tested the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for the first time on Tuesday of this week at the Nürburgring and was more than impressed by the British sports car. In addition to Heinemann, the 17-year-old Jan Marschalkowski and the Dane Patrick Matthiesen (22) also tested the PROsport-Vantage. Moritz Oestreich drove the Aston Martin for the first time a few weeks ago.
