Hantke and Jelmini are piloting the BILSTEIN-HELLA Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Nürburgring race held as part of the Truck Grand Prix.
Here’s the English translation: PROsport Racing steps onto a new stage in July: at the ADAC GT Masters round at the Nürburgring, held as part of the Truck Grand Prix (July 10–12), the team from Wiesemscheid will line up with their Mercedes-AMG GT3 in BILSTEIN-HELLA livery.
Nordschleife fans will be well acquainted with the car: it was campaigned at the 24h Race and throughout the NLS season, turning heads along the way. On the Nürburgring’s short circuit configuration, it will now take on the field of the ADAC’s established GT3 championship.
Behind the wheel, Nico Hantke and Felice Jelmini will share duties. Hantke, 22, returns to familiar territory: the Hürth native competed in the full ADAC GT Masters season in both 2024 and 2025, claiming two race victories and fourth place in the championship standings last year. “I’m very much looking forward to returning to the ADAC GT Masters and competing in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the first time. The goal is clear: we want to be at the front and fight for victory,” says Hantke.
His co-driver Felice Jelmini brings extensive GT3 experience from the GT World Challenge Europe and the Italian GT. In 2019, the 31-year-old Italian from Gallarate took the title in the Italian Clio Cup, and more recently demonstrated his talent in touring cars with a victory in a rain-soaked Hockenheim race in the TCR Europe. “The level in the ADAC GT Masters is extremely high, but I’m confident we have everything we need to be competitive,” says Jelmini.
“Returning to the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring is more than a guest appearance for us. It’s the opportunity to prove ourselves as a team and in our performance in front of over 100,000 spectators. With Nico and Felice, we have two drivers who can fully unlock the potential of our BILSTEIN-HELLA AMG GT3. That’s exactly why we’re here,” says team founder Christoph Esser.
At the Nürburgring, the ADAC GT Masters will contest two one-hour sprint races featuring a mandatory pit stop and driver change at the halfway point.
