Dress rehearsal in the Eifel: PROsport Racing fields a strong lineup for NLS3 and the 24h Qualifiers

Ahead of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, the Wiesemscheid-based team is shifting up another gear.

Five weeks before the season highlight, PROsport Racing is increasing the pace. At NLS3 on April 11 and the two four-hour races of the ADAC 24h Qualifiers one week later (NLS4 and NLS5), the team from Wiesemscheid will field a significantly expanded lineup – the final dress rehearsals before the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, which promises to be particularly high-profile in 2026 with Formula 1 star Max Verstappen and a highly competitive GT3 field.

In the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Markus Lönnroth, Guido Dumarey and his son Maxime form the core trio. At NLS3 and NLS5 – the Sunday race of the Qualifiers – the three will share the cockpit; for Lönnroth, who already delivered strong performances in PROsport’s GT4 car in 2025, it marks his debut in the top class. For the Saturday race NLS4, the lineup splits: father and son Dumarey will compete as a duo, while PROsport enters a second Vantage GT3. There, Lönnroth joins Nordschleife veterans Tobias Wahl and Maik Rönnefarth, who will drive a GT3 car on the Nordschleife for the first time – a test run for their long-awaited 24-hour debut in May.

In the proven Mercedes-AMG GT4, the team relies on its successful trio Anton Abée, Yannik Himmels and Jörg Viebahn, who won the NLS season opener. A second AMG GT4 complements the lineup: at NLS3, gentleman drivers will take the wheel, while ADAC GT Masters race winner Guilherme de Oliveira joins for the Qualifiers. The Portuguese driver will target a class win together with Viebahn at the 24-hour race. The NLS3 lineup is completed by another Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for gentleman drivers, as well as the Manheller permit program in the VT2-RWD class, where Max Reis and Lamborghini factory driver Sandy Mitchell share a BMW.

“Preparation for the 24-hour race is in full swing – and we’re shifting up another gear. With the expanded lineup, each of our cars gets exactly the track time we need ahead of the classic in May. There’s no better dress rehearsal,” explains Marc Hennerici, Managing Director of PROsport Racing.
